Overview

Android vs Android Go are two versions of Google’s mobile operating systems, designed for different device needs.

  • Android is the standard version, built for mid-range to high-end devices.
  • Android Go, however, is a streamlined, lightweight version aimed at entry-level devices with lower RAM and storage.

This makes Android Go particularly suitable for cost-effective environments, like POS (Point of Sale) smart terminals.
